Killing Music offers one-to-one consultancy and mentoring for artists, songwriters and music professionals at different stages of their careers. The approach is individual rather than formulaic: starting with where the artist is now, identifying where they want to go and building a realistic strategy around their music, identity, audience and ambitions.
Sessions can cover everything from release and campaign strategy, artist positioning and social media to international development, live strategy, team building and navigating the wider music industry.
With a background spanning both music performance and music business, Grettel can also work directly with the creative side - listening to music, discussing repertoire and artistic direction, developing live performances and looking at how the music, visuals, communication and overall artist identity work together.
Consultancy can range from a focused session around a specific release or challenge to longer-term artist mentoring and strategic development. The aim is not to apply the same career model to every artist, but to provide an outside perspective, ask the right questions and turn creative ambitions into practical next steps.
Alongside individual consultancy, Grettel regularly contributes to artist mentoring programmes, industry discussions, panels and conferences in Estonia and internationally. She is particularly passionate about supporting young and emerging talent, helping the next generation of artists and music professionals develop their skills, understand the industry and create the foundations to reach their full potential.
