Grettel is an experienced backing vocalist, vocal arranger and vocal coach, with a background spanning major live productions, television and international events.

Her performance credits include shows at some of the UK’s most iconic venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Hammersmith Apollo, Barbican, Roundhouse and Bristol Stadium. She has worked extensively as a backing vocalist and vocal arranger for projects including Garage Classical and British soul artist Mica Millar, as well as Estonian artists NOEP, Ewert & the Two Dragons, Karl Killing, Anett, Rita Ray, and many more, creating and performing vocal arrangements across large-scale live productions.

 

In 2023, she served as both project manager and backing vocalist for ALIKA’s Eurovision Song Contest entry “Bridges”, representing Estonia and finishing 8th in the Grand Final.

Alongside performing, Grettel works with artists on vocal arrangements, harmonies and live vocal direction, helping translate recorded material into compelling live performances.

Grettel also offers individual vocal coaching and lessons, working with singers at different stages of their development. Sessions can cover everything from vocal technique, breath control and healthy voice use to music theory, harmonies, ear training and developing greater confidence and versatility as a singer. For artists and performers, coaching can extend beyond vocal technique into interpretation, stage presence and preparing vocals specifically for live performance — including how to approach different songs, build stamina across a set and deliver consistently on stage. The approach is tailored to the individual, connecting technique, musical understanding and performance rather than treating them as separate skills.
